Moving out charges for your pet.

I recently moved out of the Preserve at Travis creek and received a surprise bill after move out. I called the front office and asked if my pet did not use the bathroom and the carpet looked fine - if they would charge me for carpet cleaning. They let me know that carpet cleaning would be about $35. When I got my move out bill, it was $150. They were very misleading about this. The $150 included a pet treatment and carpet shampoo. I'm okay with paying for this, but am not satisfied that they were misleading about this. So if you live here and have a pet, no matter what they tell you, expect to pay around $150 for carpet treatment and cleaning even if you already cleaned your apartment and left it spotless.
