I have lived here for almost 6 years and swore I would never rent. It's the BEST location to anywhere. The monthly brunches are yummy and the pool scene is always exciting! I don't own any pets but this place is pet friendly! I have to say the best part of this place is the maintenance dept. You have a problem and they go above and beyond to fix things and make you happy - thanks David!

Ditto!! The staff here listens to your suggestions and always makes fast maintenance repairs. David definitely goes above and beyond to keep this place humming. Thanks for the lights!

Couldnt disagree more. This will not necessarily be your experience at the preserve. I take issues with every one of the positive claims made by this review...but will expand on just one: it is not the BEST location..." My wife had a 40 minute commute to her south-downtown office (the part of down town Austin closest to the Preserve). On a Saturday or Sunday morning it will be easy enough to get around...but the only place you could walk to from the preserve is the cheap 3 store convenience mart 1.5 down the street. It is not convenient, quaint, or of the city. You can do much better for what you pay at the preserve. Oh, and how do they reward your lease renewal? With increased rates every year. My rent went up almost 400$ from year one to year 2. I had to negotiate it down. This happened on a smaller scale from year 2 to year 3. Dont waste your money. Live downtown, live on 38th, live somewhere other than this place!
