I had heard so many nice things about this place from people who had lived there 4 to 5 years ago. While it was a little pricey, I thought "what the hell'"

Hell is what I got. The drunk who lives across the way obviously sees no reason to take the trash down, just leaves it outside the door. When i report this to the office, is anything done' No, I am told that I have to take pictures, and have the occupant's name (because apparently a picture that has the apartment number on it is no good). When I supply that to the, I am told that there have to be "a number of offenses" before they can do anything about it.

Don't dare to walk in the grass, because your shoes will get ruined with the layers of dog poop that no one picks up. Although, it is probably hard to pick up dog poop when the trash/baggie stands are empty of bags for days on end. Oh, and the so-called restriction on "aggressive" breeds' Don't worry about that - even if someone were to report that you owned a vicious, attacking bloodhound, the office staff doesn't care. Or at least, they'll tell you how much they sympathize, and that they don't really like that dog either. Better than the "oh, they aren't that unfriendly" that I got when telling them about the pitbull that attacked my puppy.

On the landscaping note - I truly love the one area where the management just cut down all of the trees so that it looks like "tree stump land." Oh, and the giant board covering the large hole near a building up front - beautiful.

Of course, the clientele of the complex seems to have dropped off considerably. When I moved here, I was told that there were many "professionals" -- I took that to mean that, like myself, they had professional jobs that required getting up before noon and dressing professionally. What I guess they mean was that the people are professional meth-dealers, professional hookers, or professional strippers. Of all of those, it is the strippers I have the problem with - when your drunk ass boyfriend is screaming from his truck for you to come down at 2:00 a.m., that gets a tad annoying after six or seven times. At least the meth-dealers stick to their own house and are quiet.

In conclusion, I have personally witnessed the office staff WATCHING as children jump into the large pool and round pool from the raised "waterfall" area. They seem to have no problem with the mother chugging the bottle of Malibu before diving into the pool to "pretend" drown her kids. And I have never heard them complain about the layers of cigarettes that litter the ground after teh college kids have come home.

Ah, well... at least I can tell my children that Mommy slummed in her youth...
