Its been over a year since I moved in. I?m not sure what the writer was referring to in the 12/09/03 review. My rent actually decreased!! Where I?m from the rent ALWAYS goes up no matter how long you lived there! So the decrease was a pleasant surprise. There is a new toll road going through that does have some associated noise, but I am quite sure that that had nothing to do with the change in ownership. In fact, I have only noticed a few changes due to the change in ownership, all of which were minor. I did notice the locks on the gates near the pool, but since I?m not a swimmer I was not bothered by that. I'm sure the people who live near the pool appreciate the fact that no one is out there swimming and splashing at 2 a.m.! The only problem/issue I have had was 1) having my mail stolen out of the mailbox and my bank accounts drained and when I notified the apartment manager she refused to alert the other tenants and 2) all the large one-bedrooms on the 1st floor come with attached garages and are out of my price range. In all fairness the mail thing could have happened anywhere. Overall, I still enjoy living here and would recommend this place to anyone, but would advise everyone not to mail anything from here.
