Good place overall with a few issues

I moved here three months ago, and all-in-all, I've been very happy living here. The apartments are beautiful, with new appliances, taupe walls (NOT stark white!), and nice spacious balconies. The staff was very accommodating about move-in, and I haven't had any issues with things breaking. My few complaints: the maintenance crew goes nuts with those loud, loud leaf blowers really early in the mornings (I'm talking sometimes as early as 6:00am or 8:00am on Sunday mornings). This can be really irritating if you live in an apartment that faces one of the pools or interior areas (I don't know if it's a problem for people who face the parking lots). I've called the office twice to (nicely) ask if they could talk to maintenance, and nothing has changed. The only other gripe I have is the business office, which only has two computers. There have been times when I have waited for half an hour to check my email while a couple of young kids talk on Yahoo Instant Messenger. Other than that, though, the gym is well-equipped, the grounds are beautiful, and the apartments are really great value. As long as you don't mind a long drive downtown (20 min. with no traffic) and early morning racket doesn't bother you, you can't do better than this place.
