Overall my experience at the preserve was adequate. The apartments were spacious and the appliances were new but I had several issues with the staff that tainted my view of the complex. I want to start by stating what many others who have reviewed this apartment complex have, and that is the staff members in the front office are atrocious. Once you sign a contract they are unwilling to work with you on any issue no matter how small, but very wiling stick it to you when they see the chance. In my experience they are all-in-all mean spirited. If you need to talk with them for any reason what so ever be ready to meet their schedules because they will not be inconvenienced with trying to meet yours. They lost the deposit check for my satellite dish twice both times demanding that I come in and give them a new one else, ?eviction proceedings would be initiated?. All via letters left on my door. When I asked why such strong language was used for something so minor, they informed me that it was standard because they thought that kind of language got them quicker responses from there tenets. The maintenance staff members were very quick to respond to your request, and they were very nice guys, but there workmanship left a little to be desired in my experience. When I first moved in there were several nails holes in the walls, where someone had hung pictures, that had been patched but not painted back over. I pointed these out to the staff member who responded to my request and he quickly came back to paint over the patches but he missed about half of them. Overall if you never plan to need assistance from the staff in the front office this complex is nice, excellent pool, good floor plans and its well maintained, but the first time you have to deal with them your opinion is sure to drop.
