If you're looking for an apartment in North Austin, this is the place I'd suggest. I lived here for 9 months and enjoyed it. Shopping centers are just a short distance down the road and the location (on a hilltop) is so nice. There's also convenient access to the toll roads (which I used every work day).

There is a problem with some people not cleaning up after their pets, but overall it's not as bad as I've seen in other apartments I've lived in. Parking can suck at times, but I've never lived anywhere where there was tons of available parking. The leasing team, led by Jimmy, is by far the best group of leasing agents I've ever dealt with. They are professional and courteous, as should be expected.

The complex itself seemed mostly to house Dell employees (families and single professionals) and there weren't many college-aged kids, which wasn't good nor bad for me. There's a dog park, 4 pools (2 lap pools, 2 swimming pools), 2 hot tubs, and conveniently located mailbox banks. The only beef I have with the property is the gates. They were broken every once in a while, but they were usually working. However, my name was never entered in to the directory, so I had to either walk down and use my clicker to let people in or hope that another car came to open the gate for them. That was my biggest pet peeve, for sure.

Overall, I'm giving this place 4 stars. Really great place to live with minimal drawbacks. The only reason I moved out was to move into a house closer to St. Eds (girlfriend's school).
