This is my third apartment building in austin. Needless to say I am picky and I never renew. But I just renewed after one year here, and they painted my apartment and gave me new carpet as an incentive! I was going to renew no matter what. The staff has been more than helpful in every aspect of apartment living, the maintenance crew is responsible and compassionate. (Our ac went out on fourth of july and two maintenance guys came in to help fix it) The grounds are beautiful, the pool is outrageous, and the attached rattan creek public (pud) park adjacent is a great place to walk the mutt and the kid!

We love it here, we don't want to own a home because we refuse to mow a lawn or clean a pool. Here at Rattan Creek they fix everything within 48hrs notice and are available for emergencies right away.

I will most likely live here as long as I reside in austin and for a person who moved four times in 1 year, that means something.
