I've lived 4 different apartment complexes in the past four years, and Regency Park (formerly Alexan Mira Vista) has been absolutely horrible. For 4 months straight we got eviction notices because of their accounting errors saying we owed them a mere $15! Turns out they owe us about $30! If you dont fill out a form telling them you plan to move out at the end of your lease they force you to stay another 60 days at a 150% rate increase on your rent (my rent of $1080/mo would have jumped to $1650/mo). We were also told that we qualified for a discount on rent ($500), and then the next month they told us we no longer qualified. We had a written note from management saying we should recieve the discount, but then the property manager refused to accept it! Also, considering this is a new complex, I am amazed at how many things fall off in my apartment (ceiling fan globe fell, kitchen drawer broke, washing machine broke, patio blinds broke, ice maker broke, garbage disposal broke, fire alarms beep all the time and they say they cannot fix it, faucet broke, light pull chain broke, kitchen counter overhang is crooked, light switches are connected to the wrong lights, and i'm sure there's more that i'm forgetting - all this in one year, when all my previous apartments needed maybe one repair a year). Once I put in a request for a repair FOUR times (once every week for one month straight) and they still haven't gotten it right

Just as a note: i started reading the other reviews just to see what everyone else thought. besides noticing that the HUGE MAJORITY HATES THIS PLACE AND DOES NOT RECOMMEND IT, i noticed that the few people that do recommend this complex usually say something like "good place but..." or "nice apartments, bad location..." or "everything is ok, i guess..." it looks like they are defending the place just because there are so many negative reviews. I only see like 3 genuinely positive reviews.
