Pretty Good For My First Apartment.. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/20/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   I'm a current tenant near the end of my second year here and the complex itself is great. I've never had a problem with management, parking is not that bad if you don't mind a little walk (I'm a female and don t feel uncomfortable walking through the parking lot at night...partly because I carry mace), and maintenance has always been on time and do a very good job. They due plan to raise my rent if my room mate and I renew, but that's to be expected. The only reason why I don't plan on renewing is the noise, which I didn't have a problem with until after a few months into my second year here. I can hear EVERYTHING the people above me do, from dropping heavy things and slamming doors repeatedly to running, stomping, and jumping around all at 2:30 in the morning. Now, I know you can help but make some noise when moving around your apartment, but it's gotten to the point where it's so loud that it shakes our ceiling fans and I'm now convinced that they are doing it on purpose since I first started complaining. Really mature. Over all, this isn t such a bad place to live especially if you re just starting out on your own, the management is very helpful, understanding, and knowledgeable when you need them. Just be prepared to deal with a few rude and inconsiderate neighbors. You just can t avoid every jerk in the world.
