Renaissance at North Bend

From: omnipadme Date posted: 4/30/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   I've lived here for about a year and I would renew, but I want to live closer to my job downtown. I love everything about my apartment- I'm a 3rd floor resident, never hear my neighbors through the walls or anything like that. The faux wood and color options, garden tub really give this place a homey feel. I feel like this is a very quiet, professional complex. It is next to a police station, which I thought would be a good thing (safety), but the cops are constantly making noise and tooting their little sirens 24/7. Can't really do much about that though. I do agree with the previous poster about people leaving trash on their porches. We all received a note on our door about it and the penalties for doing so, but I still see the same people leaving goodies around for the rodents on a weekly basis. Anyway, my electric, water, and gas bills are all around $50 each/month, which is very reasonable. I have a washer and dryer and car port. I've only had 1 maintenance issue- took about a week and 1/2 to get my heat working, but the maintenance ppl were at my place daily to try to figure out exactly what the issue was. The area is perfect- right in between mopac and I-35, all the eateries are right around the corner, and Target, walmart, and a fabulous HEB are all near by. Grounds are always kept up, I never see trash anywhere around the complex. I'm really not looking forward to moving, but eh...
