I'd go elsewhere

After almost a year, we decided to leave this place. Management wasnt as bad as everyone seems to think it is, but the facilities do in fact stink. The gym hours and equipment conditions basically mean that if you wish to excercise, you must pay for a membership elsewhere. I'm sorry but damage to your equipment by residents is not a reason to not repair it. Instead why not fix the problem by having an entry system that holds people accountable(i.e. tied to an apartment specifically), and maybe closed circuit television.

After reading some of these reviews and the managment responses, I must point out that this place is not nearly as good as they think it is. The location is nice and the landscaping is as well, however to put it in perspective; for 40 dollars more a month I am about to get 400 more square feet, a jacuzzi, a FULL gym open 19 hours a day(save the 40 dollars right there), a carwash, a movie theatre, free movie rentals, they pick your trash up at the curb, lower pet deposits, a small pet park, putt putt golf, sand volleyball, with the only drawback being it is further from downtown. Yes it still has a nice pool, beautiful landscaping, grills, etc... and the residents actually seem happy to live here which is further reinforced by community events and a pool which is always packed. I dont write this trying to sell you on my complex, just to basically give you an idea of what can be found if you just look and to give the managment an idea of what some other places are offering. A friend looked at the place next door to the reserve and that place is just as bad. I guess they think they are only competing with each other.

Bottom line if you work in one of the places nearby, you cannot beat the loaction and they give you a nice discount for it. However you can get much better in austin, and I have noticed a lot of good neighbors leaving with the crime seeming to increase.
