My husband and I came to look at these apartments and the woman in the leasing office was the worst! She was to lazy to show us the apartment. We asked if we could see one and she said- well, I'm not allowed to drive the carts yet. Then we offered to drive in our car and she said she wasn't allowed to do that either. So we said- Can we walk' She finally agreed- (a bit disappointed though)- apparently she didn't want to get out of her chair. When we got to the apartment, she couldn't open the door- she was turning the key the wrong way! When I saw her I stepped in and had to open the door myself. of course this woman is not very bright and definitely has no business doing what she was doing, however we continued to look at the apartment.
It was nice and at a good price and close to work - so after a lot of deliberating on my part and choosing to let the complete incompetence of the management (for placing someone like that to take charge of the main office like that) slide, we moved in.
The worse thing about this place is that at least once or twice a week the management bothers you for petty things like: checking your fire alarm, pest inspections, fumigations, foundation inspections, leak inspections. The latest is the "water pressure tests" that have already taken 2 weeks! They ask you to not use any water in your own home from 8am- 6pm; they even have the tenacity to tell you on their notice to take a shower before or after these times. Quite frankly, I feel a total loss of privacy as maintenance has to come into my home constantly when I'm at work and now I can't even shower or even use the restroom when I want'' Their notices also warn that the water will be completely shut off periodically during these "testings". Sometimes I feel as if they are trying to get everyone to leave!
Besides that, the management continues to be incompetent and quite frankly lazy whenever you ask them to do anything! The no brain girl isn't there anymore but it's not much of a change.
Just to add to everything- there has been several car break-ins recently! Please save yourself the headache- don't move here!

Wow!! I feel that everyone should be thankful for all of the testing going on with your "fire alarms" and the "pest inspections" !! Some apartment complexes do not even worry about this type of stuff at all!! I think that it shows the true concerns of the complex!!

It would help if the pest and smoke detector inspections were actually worthwhile. My smoke detectors constantly malfunctioned and I had a pest problem (fire ants and roaches) from day one. It was terrible.
