Don't let the front office fool you

Parking
Varies depending on which building you live in. Unfortunately I live in the front and have to share about 10 spaces with my entire building. Those in the back have it better. Poor planning on their part.
Noise
I always hear my neighbor yelling at his wife/gf. The walls are paper thin and I can even hear casual conversation coming from a different floor! I've sent several complaints, but they really cant build new walls.
Grounds
Pretty generic. I've seen better landscaping in communities with cheaper rent. People don't pick up their dog poop either.
Safety
Its ok during the day, but at night there is little lighting in the parking lot and sidewalks leading up to the buildings. The building hallways are lit just fine. But there are always people lurking around in the parking lot when I come home at night. Kinda creepy.
Construction
Again, the walls are thin. Also there seems to be a major foundation problem when these buildings were constructed. My apartment is crooked. When I had to hang curtains, the right nail was an inch higher than the left in order for it to look "visually level" to the ceiling and floor. There are also cracks in the ceiling due to foundation problems.
Maintenance
They make unexpected visits on very short notice. Most recently I left for work around 7am. When I came back in the afternoon I noticed they changed several lightbulbs. I found a notice on my end table by the door stating they were going to change bulbs that day, but never posted it within a reasonable time! I assumed they posted the notice after I left that morning, and came back a few hours later to change bulbs. They even included a "PET INSIDE" notice. I don't have pets, but if I did would not have had a chance to warn the maintenance person.
Staff
They always seem bothered or annoyed when I approach them about an issue. I don't even talk to them anymore because its useless.
Overall
I'm leaving as soon as my lease is up. I've seen nicer places around town. Don't be pulled in by cheap rent and incentives. There are more problems here that can't be seen during an initial visit.

I live here as well and all of the above comments are so true. I am also moving out as soon as my lease is up. The staff is very rude and my apartment is literaly falling apart around me due to very bad foundation issues. I wouldnt recommend staying here!!!
