I am suprised at the negative comments left, my experience has not been bad. Although there was a time when I had to keep on maintenance to finish a job. Otherwise the office staff is easy to work with my apt. was in tip top shape when I moved in.
Yes the electric bills are high, but in total honesty my last apartment was not any better and the square footage was smaller.
I recommended they get the darker screens for the windows because my sons room gets really HOT!! because of his big window.
I did rent covered parking, although will be letting that go when I renew. Parking is tight.
There are lots of kids, if they are making to much noise I ask them to keep it down and they do.
Lots of dogs, we live in the area where people walk them watch your step lots of poop, but that is not in Management control.
The garbage units were not working for a couple of months and it made the complex look BAD, and Im glad I don't live near the area it STANK Bad!!
Otherwise we will be renewing for another 6 months. As for the cost I remember about four years ago you were paying $100 per sq FT I paid $760 for a one bedroom at one time (and that was a good deal). I have a 2b / 2b and only pay $750 now w/ carport.

the austin rental market has fallen, there is no way that market rent on an aparment in the complex is over $100 a square feet, but the office sure would like you to believe that. so that when you do rent you think you are getting such a "great" deal. whatever...you have been warned.
