I hate this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have lived here for 2 years now. I absolutely loved it when I first moved in. All of the office people were great and helpful. They always greeted you with a smile and responded to any question or request that you had. Well...all of a sudden there were all new faces in the office and none of them were friendly. When I walk into the office, I might as well be a spec of dust, because no one offers to help you or ask if you need something until you walk directly up to someone.
At first I had small maintenance problems and anytime I called the office, if maintenance was not there that same day, they would come the following day. until, I had a leak in my bathroom. They did nothing, absolutely nothing about the water that was dripping in my bathroom, nor the water that I told them I can hear dripping in the wall everytime my upstairs neighbor turns on their shower. There is now a hole in the ceiling of my bathroom that they sprayed kiltz on and it looks like it is spray painted. You can see the original color of the ceiling, the color of the spary paint looking stuff and the mold that is still growing.
now lets talk about the thin walls in the buildings. I can hear my neighbors conversations, televisions, phones ringing, you name it, at any given time of the day. I can not watch my television at a reasonable sound level without having someone knock on my door to ask me to turn it down. I can hear my upstairs' neighbors every move as they walk around their apartment. There is also rotted wood in their floorboards or something because there are certain spots of the floor that they step on and a loud creak is heard.
How about the poop and scoop policy that is an absolut joke. You cannot walk anywhere on this property without stepping in or coming very close to stepping in ----. There are also areas of the grass that have absolutely no possible way to drain, so they are a constant mud pit.
The trash compacters are a total joke. They are always pilled up and never work. Often there is trash sitting on the ground around them, or they bring in a huge dumpster and just sit it in the parking lot and let that overflow.
I have had some pretty good neighbors, except for the ones that fought, partied and were up at all hours of the night. I made complaint after complaint to the office and finally just began calling the police on them and they finally either left or the office staff decided to do something about it and evicted them.
I can't get the office staff to react to my maintenance needs or neighbor complaints, but they will put a notice on your door and attempt to fine you for leaving a trash bag outside your door for 20 minutes so that your husband can take it to the dumpster when he gets home.
The Retreat is one of the nicest complexes on Wells Branch, but the management needs to take a couple more classes and they need to learn how to run the complex a little better. it also wouldn't hurt to weed out a few of the people who apply for an apartment.
Parking is also funny. someone is always in my covered spot and there are several cars that occupy the same spot at all times and that is because they either do not work or have a flat tire. Those cars take up the best spots. Nothing is done about that either.
I am glad that I am nearing the end of my lease. I will not be renewing it and I will not be recommending this complex to anyone I know. I have already contacted a few apartment locaters and advised them of the problems at The Retreat.
