I agree with the the lastest reviews written about this apartment complex. We have not been living here a year as soon as our lease is up we will NOT be renewing. The apartment is not well insulated at all. I do everything possible to keep my electric bill low but since we moved her our electric bill has not been less than $150. I don't open my blinds to cut down on the chance of air from the outside entering the apartment. I kept the heat at 68 degrees when it was freezing outside and it was like I didn't have any heat on at all. I would layer my child in clothes and blankets when it was cold so we would not have an outragous electric bill and last month our bill was $324!!! That is totally absurd since I didn't have any christmas lights on in or outside. I explained to my child that we could not turn the lights on the tree on because we didnt't want a high bill. We contacted the office to have the furnace checked and they sent a maintenance man not heating / cooling pros to look at the furnace and concluded that the bill was high due to a "filthy" filter that was changed less than three months ago. I am so digusted with this place! For the amount of rent you pay you would think they would atleast get you the $50 water bill to you on time every month. If you don't pay the water bill on time( because you did not get one) they send you a threating letter. I was so excited when we first moved here because we moved to Austin from a small town so these apartments seemed like a dream now I know it is an illusion. The nasty pets owners who live her let their dogs crap all over the place. Our neighbors who live on the third floor throw their trash, beer cans and even dog crap off there balcony and it lands outside of our patio because we live on the first floor. We won't even talk about the shady looking maintenance people they have working here. I don't trust any of them. This place is a BIG disappointment I am even thinking about just paying to get out of the lease.
