I currently have lived in Riata MylesMark village since August 2002 and it has been an OK and good experience. I miss my old place when I had a garage though. MylesMark is the cheapest of all villages. Parking isn't bad but the spots are tiny. You are pre-assigned a covered spot but it could be kind of a walk to get to it depending on your luck with what apartment you get. Only every other village has a hot tub and they are really small. The pools are OK. The great things are the happy hours and the gym. It is a nice place if you are active and can use all the amenities on a regular basis. Currently I have a problem with gnats that appear in my sink and refrigerator, and the lining on my tub has been peeling. The apt. is only 1.5 yrs old! The noise level is VERY quiet to me...I expected to meet my neighbors and party a little but there's not much of that in MylesMark village.
So summary: Not worth the price unless you do not work and take advantage of all the amenities VERY OFTEN.

i also live in Riata and have a massive gnat issue. They swarm my kitchen and bathrooms. I have had the apartment exterminated,removed any fruit and put bleach in the drains. Nothing works! i don't get it.

Well, I would have to agree with the gnat issue... they are actually fruit flies... SICK! And it's because the management doesn't switch out the huge dumpsters, right outside the building... ya, they make it look all nice by covering it with ivy and a high, wooden fence; but this place is awful when it comes to bugs. Judging by the year of your posts... it's around this time of year that it gets the worst. This place is so noisy, I wear earplugs every night. And the fact that all of the extra activities ALL have to do with alcohol really bugs me... Ha, bugs... funny...
