Nice place. Be careful with deposit & moveout gouging!

We lived at Riata Greymoss and overall had a good experience. The amenities are nice, and if there was ever a problem with the apartment/maintenance it was handled quickly, correctly, and professionally. I would say that it is worth the $$.
One HUGE issue that I would caution future residents about is the deposit and moveout process. We payed a $300 deposit at lease signing. When we moved out we learned that half of that deposit is non-refundable and goes straight to "administrative fees". We also paid a pet deposit, and the same rule applies--half of that deposit is never to be seen again. It's the price you pay for just to have a pet there.
We've been very disappointed at moveout. We paid over $700 in deposit fees only to find out that only half of that gets applied. They have a carpet policy that indicates that the carpet in the apartments should last 5-7 years. We were told it costs $1000 to replace it. Of course we were informed that it had to be replaced after we moved out. Cost' $600. So we owe them over $350 dollars. Make sure you ask how old the carpet is before you move in, and ask about the replacement policy!
Great place to live, but they will gouge you on moveout!
