I have been living here for 9months. I have had my car broke into and many things got stolen! Nothing was done about it. The gates are always broken! Also, there are always loud parties going on. And the pools are always trashed on the weekend with broken glass and beer cans.

I've lived here about the same length and I'm moving out due to a home purchase. I have to say, I think the poster is emotional and exaggerating. If you leave "many things" in your car, you tempt the burglar to pick on your car. My advise is don't have "many things" to steal in plain view. I have never seen the gates broken for more than 2 days, and that was over a weekend. The pool isn't trashed and is kept pretty clean. If you are talking about 11 pm on a Saturday night, the cans will probably be full, but they get emptied the next day. Glass isnt allowed and I have not had an issue with it.

When the poster put that "the pools" we trashed, he/she makes it sound like all 9 pools are trashed on the weekend. From my experience (having lived in 3 villages in 2 years), it really depends on which village you're in as far as noise level and amount of trash laying around. The less expensive villages attract people in roommate situations, typically younger, and those villages are louder on the weekends and late at night, and there does tend to be more trash laying around. I would assume the pools have more garbage that people leave behind too. But in the other villages (like Dominion and Enclave), the pools are so rarely used that there's never trash laying around. These villages are more families and retirees that are simply waiting to transition to a house. The main pool gets the most useage,a nd I tend to avoid it on weekends because of how crowded it gets, so I can't speak on the trash level there on weekends.

They broke into my car even though there was nothing in plain sight. There wasn't anything period! They just smashed the window looking for stuff. I guess that's just apartment living. At the Riata you just get to pay more for it.
