Ridge Apartments

My lease is almost up at the Ridge and I couldn't be happier. It's not a total nightmare here, but I think I pay far too much to deal with the numerous problems that come up. There are some pros to living here, but I still wouldn't recommend it.

A few good things: *first stop on the UT FW bus. *parking is adequate in MOST places *newer decorated apts are slightly cute, or can be made cute anyways

Many bad things: *management is not professional- I agree with the other reviewers. *early morning noise nearly every day--and only God knows why! Who mows the lawn every day? *rats *the swimming pools leave much to be desired and the gates are often locked for no apparent reason *the new paint job makes the apts look even more outdated than before *pet rent plus extra rent for newly decorated apts..this is rediculous to me because a little paint and some extra wood is not that expensive..and the new paint job is sloppy at that

Anyways, I could go on...the bottom line...there are many other options in the Far West area....
