I find it amazing some of the comments I have read. I think it sounds like sour grapes not that the apt complex is so bad. I do not believe for one minute anyone would live at a place that is supposed to be so bad. Not when there is all the ads for free rent anywhere in Austin. Besides, I do live there and have lived there for over 6 years. I have never found the pools closed except when they had the pools redone last fall. Yes I see pidgeons (or actually evidence of pidgeons) but I also see where the staff cleans up after the pidgeons. I know several of my neighbors and we all agree the Ridge is a great place to live. I have had several opportunities to speak with the present manager and while I find her to be firm I wouldn't say she is a b....maybe those of you with that opinion are the ones with a problem. No one is perfect and there are no perfect complexes but the Ridge is sure a far cry from what has been written here. I wonder if the staff is even aware of this web site' I think I will call and see. One last note, because someone has something positive to say in the face of all the rotten things, why must that be someone from the staff' I think you are cowards and should be ashamed of yourselves. I hope the people from the Ridge office does know about this site and see there are some of us tenants who appreciate them.
