To be honest, yes, I have been told by my neighbors that the manager, Chloe, is not the nicest. However, I have never even talked to the woman but once, usually, I deal with the other staff. I've only had to fill out one work request, and the repair was done the next morning (the maintence guy was fast, got the job done, and explained the problem to me). The assistant manager, Ryan, worked with me when I wanted to renew my lease so that I can cancel if I am accepted to grad school and need to move early (at the same, low monthly price I pay now). The only complaint I have about this place is that the parking lot lighting is not the best. However, I always find a good spot near my apartment, which is more than I can say for the other complexes I have lived in. My apartment is clean, with new paint, and it smells good (my other apartments reaked of cat pee). The price is nice, and the pools are never crowded. So, you feel comfortable sunbathing without creepy guys staring at you or bratty kids making noise. My neighbors here are friendly and where noise is concerned, I have never experienced anything more than a few creaks from the people that live above me. The outside of the complex looks nice too. The first stop on the UT bus route is convenient, and HEB, Eckerds, food places, and the post office are in walking distance.
