Just okay...

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007
Pros:
- Except for the leafblowers in the mornings, I like that the area is pretty quiet. You can't really hear the neighbors.
- Electric bill is not low but just reasonable. That's better than a lot of places that are poorly insulated and inefficient.
- There's a recycling center in backside the complext if you're willing to carry your stuff there. The complex is pretty big so it can be quite a workout for most people who want to do it.
Cons:
- $300 pet fee (plus $200 pet deposit) and $20/month pet rent!! Ridiculous ripping off of pet owners.
- I had bug problems soon after I moved in but I guess some of that can be expected at most apartments around here.
- Some things inside the apartment are old and uncleanable, such as the bathtub, carpet, window screen, etc. It can be pretty gross but everyone has a different tolerant level for that sort of thing.
- Outside of the apartment is even older. The stairways need painting and welding. The the wood panels are old, squeaky, and unstable. I've actually seen one section got blocked off with yellow tape because it broke off in the middle(hopefully not when someone was walking on it).
- The assistant manager is EXTREMELY RUDE. It's as if she's making a statement that she doesn't need to be nice to us after we've moved in.
- They do use leaf blowers a lot in the early morning, kinda annoying.
- Bird problem. There's always plenty of bird poop covering my car (you can get covered parking for 40 bucks a month)and stair way, and pigeons growl and claw the fixture right outside my window when I'm trying to sleep.
- Doors and windows are not leveled. You can tell just by looking at them. I have a hard time opening and closing most of my doors and windows because of that.
- No lights installed in the livingroom or the bedrooms. So bring plenty of tall lamps when you move to this place.
- The bathroom area is very small. You can't blow dry your hair in front of the mirror because there's not enough space for even a small person to raise their elbow. It's kinda ridiculous. I'm surprised no one has mentioned this.
