Sorry if this review is long, but I wanted to fully explain the positive and the negative sides of living here.
I have mixed feelings when it comes to Ridgeview, as other reviewers seem to also.
On one hand you have attractive, thouroughly modern, and spacious apartments.
On the other you have a problematic parking situation and noisy, party neighbors.
I can attest to the quality of the interior of the apartments themselves.
All of the kitchen appliances are close to brand new; i love having so much space in the kitchen! The kitchen appliances are all Whirpool.
My apartment has crown molding, vaulted ceilings, a fireplace and mantle, 2 ceiling fans, stylish/pretty light fixtures, a vanity mirror, faux granite kitchen countertops, and much more.
Each apartment comes with its own spacios patio.
Initially I was impressed with the layouts of the one bedrooms.
I have the second largest one bedroom, which is approximately 800 sq ft, including the patio space.
So I feel that the apartment provides an adequate amount of space for me.
I also feel that the rental price is fair- $620 for 800 sq ft.
I wish the apartment had come with washer/dryer units.
But they do have hookups for them.
The laundry facility, which they for some reason call the "Clothes Care Center," only has 4 washers and 4 dryers.
For a complex this size I think they should have at least 6 or 8.
I guess they expect everyone to either rent or buy their own washers/dryers.
The fitness center is nice and the equipment is modern.
It is open from 5 am till midnight.
I've never had a problem working out down there.
The fitness center has a stereo and 2 tvs.
One really good thing is that my utility bills have been very inexpensive.
My electric and water bills are always low.
The parking is definitely a problem.
When I first moved in here it wasn't as difficult to find a spot- now it is nearly impossible to find adequate parking near my building.
To my knowledge parking has always been a problem near the front of the complex, but now it is a major issue throughout the whole place! Management just recently came up with a "solution" for this problem.
They are currently creating new spaces, so we'll see what kind of impact that will have on the problem.
Right after I first moved here I started to get the impression that Ridgeview is a bit deceiving and only looks good to those who DON'T live here.
The management and the leasing office staff were very nice at first, but every time I go in there they seem uncaring and kind of rude.
The two major issues I have with living here are the parking problems and the noise levels.
I have wondered if I moved to the wrong place, because Ridgeview has seemed like a glorified frat house at times.
The partying starts on Thursdays of most weeks, apparently they think the weekend starts on this day.
They will start partying whenever they feel like it, usually anywhere from 10 pm till 5 am.
Most of my neighbors think it is perfectly acceptable to slam their sliding glass doors and front doors carelessly.
They think it's also just fine if they blast their stereos into the wee hours of the night.
Some of my neighbors stand out on their patios, drinking beer and screaming at the top of their lungs.
Their behavior is so inconsiderate and is downright stupid.
So for this reason if you're a frat boy or girl this is the right place for you.
As you can tell from this review, there are upsides and downsides of living at Ridgeview.
Just like anything else- there are positives and negatives.
For me right now, the postives outweigh the negatives.
Overall I would recommend Ridgeview to others.

I agree completly. Our building wasn't particularly loud until the last six months we lived there and two new neightbors moved in that smoked pot on their balconies (wonderful to smell) and spoke loudly into the night, sometimes yelling and screaming and laughing. But my biggest issue was the management and how sweet they seemed upfront, but how nasty and manipulative they really were. I've lived in multiple apartment complexes and they have been some of the worst. They will do anything to keep your deposits and charge you more than they should. |

So, it seems that the situation is getting worse instead of better. Is that the case? I'm very concerned because I am supposed to sign a lease - my biggest pet peeves are safety, noise, and parking. Any update you can provide me on the Ridgeview situation would be appreciated. Thank you.
