My advice to anyone for looking for an apartment near campus is not to live here. Even though the apartments are within walking distance, I have had so many problems, its not worth it. The first year the entire complex had a problem with roaches. Every time you turned around there was another roach in the bathroom or kitchen. They finally controlled the problem after an entire semester, so my roommate and I decided to stay another year. Bad mistake. In the first semester there was a sewer leak which ran down the sidewalk for a long time. Needless to say it brought our furry friends "rats." So now that we have rats in our apartment we have definitely had enough. Some other things that suck is there is no parking for guests whatsoever so they have to park on the side streets where I have had several friends get their cd players stolen. Also maintenance sucks and don't even think about on site management because we don't have any!! One other thing forget central air and heat because we don't have it. This place is so old that the air is controlled by the management. Our air conditioner consists of low, medium, high and off. Talk about high tech. So basically you will freeze in the fall and the spring. Enough said, don't live here.
