I lived here from summer 08 to summer 09. I did read the reviews here before signing the lease, and it did worry me a bit. But fortunately during the time I stayed here I did not encountered major problems. Our bathroom shower drainage was clogged when we first moved in, and that took a day to be fixed, but the management offered to pay for a hotel for us to stay in and use the shower temporarily. Other than that, there was not much problems.
The parking here is not really good though. There are plenty of parking space available, but in order for visitors to park they must have a visitor parking permit and park at the designated visitor spot. Problem is, they only assigned one visitor permit for us, and if we need more we have to go to the management to borrow more. This is inconvenient when friends come by at night or weekends, when the management office is closed, and thus they have to park on the streets instead.
The rent is slightly pricey, but it's not as costly as living west campus
