I can't believe in a time like this that you would raise my rent. I have lived her for over 2 years and I just got a letter to renew my contract with you'll but you want to raise my rent. With what is going on in this world today no one has extra to give away. Have you seen the gas prices and everything else. I would think that you would want to keep your tenants rather than raise their rent and they go elsewhere. I have also seen some other apartments that are just as nice but the only reason why I might and I said might consider to stay is because the office is always nice to me and my family. The staff there are really nice and I read these comments before I decided to write one and I agree with everyone that Lori (the name is correct and written correctly) is not a very nice person, she thinks that she is better than you and me. She lets you think that it's someone elses fault but in reality it is her fault. She makes deals like you wouldn't know and the reason why I can say this is because if you are a guy and she likes you - you get what you want. Have you been with her at a tenant party. If you are a female or a family well you better go ask someone else. I agree that there are great activities but your supposed to have those. Don't get me wrong Lori can be great if she just tones it done a bit and quit acting like she owns the world cause she doesn't. I am still undecided if I am going to renew again but they will know soon enough.

If you want to be so bold as to write a comment , why do it anonymously? Are you even aware that she is a mother herself? My being a parent, knows how important something like that is, and would most definately recommend someone speaking to her! She is very CARING about this property, what did she ever do to you anyway? Follow procedures that didn't work out for you? I got an increase too and all it took was for me to take the time to go talk to our office instead of bashing them! And it worked out for me. They have to deal with all property problems, issues in this office...do you really think that all decisions re: your problems are not coming from somewhere else? Think about the way things go at your work & where they come from! This property is great!

I agree with the response above...she is excellent, and just doing her job. There is nothing wrong with the office staff...at all. Take into consideration that this is this woman's job and takes it very seriously! I appreciate the fact that she is direct and straight to the point, instead of lying to the residents! How can you complain about that? Just because you don't get your way? Rediculous. Grow up...our office is excellent and does all that they can to help us! You obviously live here for a reason and should stay because you are happy with not only our surroundings, but with all they try to do to make it better. Like you said, "in a time like this"... expect an increase, because everyone is raising rents due to the market increase. We all want to complain about "Gas Prices", but atleast we have a place to call home! (see previous comment) Renew! This truly is a great place to live!

What --------! Its so easy to tell that this is someone defending the apartment complex and its staff! Who would do that - who would go to such length and spend so much time composing such responces but STAFF!!!!

It looks like the staff are the ones writing the responses- I know of no one on the complex RIVEROAKS that is happy with the management as a whole....as far as I am concerned they should have been rated lower than it was, they get too much notaritiy and not enough critisism. They will never change when you are just blowing smoke, and fail to tell future residents the truth about the management @ Riveroaks.
