I've only lived here for about 6 weeks but I like it here. Since I moved from a house in a subdivision, I thought it would be hard getting used to apartment living again, but this place isn't bad! I wonder if they changed office staff since the previous reviews, but I thought everyone was super friendly and helpful everytime I stopped into the office or called.

I had one maintenance call, and it was resolved promptly, and they left no mess. The only thing I was was better is the sound insulation. I don't know if it is becuase of where my unit is located, but everytime someone flushed, it sounds like a waterfall in my wall! It was really annoying at first, but you get used to it. Normally it is pretty quiet, but can get noisy Friday and Saturday evenings.

The amenities are decent, and the residents I have met seem nice too. I have lived in much nicer apartments, but paid a lot more too. River Oaks really isn't bad for the price, and the pet fee is lower that some other place I saw.
