First the good. I like the floor plan, especially since it has an attached two car garage. I like the pool. Too bad it's closed every Monday so they can get the glass from the weekend non-resident party. Nice Gym. Great maintenance people. Lots of poop, I mean fertilizer on the ground between apartments. That's about it. The bad is, oh, how do I say, I'm leaving my apartment EMPTY for 2 months so I can get some sleep and work (I work from home). Seriously, I am spending $2400 dollars to move out now and I am moving into a house. I have lived in a number of apartments in south Austin, and this one is the absolute worst. Oh and if the World Pogo Championship in the apartment above mine isn't bad enough, somehow I can still hear Mopac traffic. It might be my neighbors, but I seriously recommend that you make sure to evaluate the noise before your 30 days ends. I can hear the kid upstairs literally running in circles as I'm typing. omfg.

I have to add: I just took a copy of the note that I left on my upstairs neighbors door, begging them to just keep it down till I move out and the Manager actually said "What can I do'". My response, stop leasing apartments to complete Fuktards.

Update: I have been let out of my lease. Yippee. Moving in 2 Days.

The office staff is shameful. If they hate their job so much they should get new ones. McDonald's is hiring. And I can hear everthing my neighbor are saying and DOING also!

You mean they wouldn't kick your neighbors out on the street because you wanted them to?!?! How shameful indeed! And because I'm sure they assured you that your apartment would be completely sound proof, you should probably take them as high as the supreme court...if that's what it takes for your pain and suffering to go away. Good thing they don't discriminate against "fuktards"...b/c even though I'm not exactly sure what that is, you seem to fit the profile.

People that don't want to hear their neighbors walking should live on the 3rd floor....then you don't have to worry about people above you...wow what an idea!!! seriously people!

So instead of people learning some manners and realizing that if you stomp across the floor like an idiot the sound is magnafied to those living below you, everyone should just move to a house? I bet your are one of those people who would have an untidy front lawn and blast your stereo because you are "in your own house". Sounds like you don't care about others either way.
