I have been living at these apartments for about 8months and I love them. The landscape is nice and the amenities are nice(work out room, pool, indoor bball court and racquetball court all functional for use). The staff is always friendly and the property is gated and fairly safe in my opinion. I haven't seen or heard of any vandalism or loud parties since I have lived there. As always, it's not perfect as no place will be, the only complaint i have is that the walls are somewhat thin so you can hear people walking above you occasionally or some outside noise (people shutting doors or loud talking); also the residences who own pets tend to lack on picking up after their pooches, and i would sympathize but there are waste baskets located through out the property for owners to discard these matters (i am guilty myself), but I think the grounds keepers do ok on managing this.
I have never had problems with deliveries to my apartment and i have stuff delivered all the time; they have always left a note when i have a package and they hold it in the office until you come pick it up(and as any responsible adult would do...if you are expecting something and it has yet to arrive just go ask the office if anything has come in, sometimes notes disappear..stuff happens and they aren't they aren't going to call everyday to remind you that your package is still being held..use common sense and check up on deliveries, esp if you think they are taking a lot time)
I would recommend this property if you don't mind the price (700 for a one bedroom)
The location is also convenient, you are within minutes from everything, Downtown Zilker Park, Grocery Stores, Barton Creek Mall and most of the major highways in Austin

Nice Review.
I'll sum it up. Loud. Poopy. Lost package notes. Overpriced. But nice.

Hey its John again. Its nice to know that you are still so miserable even after you've moved out. I pray that you get a life and find some kind of something to cling to that can make you happy. Put River Stone Ranch in the past. I promise its not worth your time. The negative energy that you hold inside is only hurting you John. BE HAPPY!

Actually, It's a very nice place, nice staff (and being as high maintenance as I am) this place is not bad, it's a little overpriced yeah...but everything in Austin is overpriced unless you live in the HOOD!!! You are paying for convenience and location as well as lifestyle and amenities.
To clarify, I didn't say I lost packages or package notes either... that was in response to another post on here saying the office kept their packages for ever and didn't notify them...I was saying that responsible people shouldn't be blaming others for their irresponsibilities...if you are expecting something, then you should be checking up on the status of the delivery, that's common sense..just in case the office did make an effort to notify you and somehow you didn't receive it. However not every can be as smart as others...
As for noise...if you don't like hearing neighbors above you don't live on the first or second floor...again common sense...or better yet..if you don't want to hear anyone at all go live in a house... but even then I am sure someone would find something to complain about.
I love how people take things out of context or twist stuff to seem one way because they had a bad experience and are bitter.
AGAIN, This is not a bad place to live...
I do feel for the people with the apartment that had the water leak...that sucks and I would be pissed off too...but as far as expenses go...doesn't the renters insurance (you are required to obtain)cover stuff like that...mine does
