I love my tree house! I live top floor with a beautiful view, and have had no problems here that weren't quickly resolved. Everything is in great shape (knock on wood) and I have been here for over a year now! Handy dandy location too, and since it's a few miles out of town (and a state trooper evidently lives near my building now), it seems very safe.
The pool is hideous, but I don't like swimming so it doesn't really bother me.
When I had an issue with the water billing awhile back (due to a problem with the water company, not the management here), the situation was resolved without me ever having to call the company!
Just thought I'd put in my positive .02. It's a nice, quality complex in a good location with management who have been nothing but helpful to me! What more can you ask for (if you don't care about the murky pool)' I'm very happy here.
And I agree with previous reviewers--if you don't want noise, live on the top floor. It rocks up here.
Edited to add: They also respect privacy here, i.e., only very necessary inspections and walk-throughs. I think I have had 2 in the whole time I have lived here, as opposed to 1 per month at least in my old complex.

First, you probably work for the complex. Second, You should put in your review that you are young and don't mind stairs. And don't have kids.

Here, I'll use your own ridiculous logic: Since you don't like it, you MUST work for a complex across the highway, just like I must work for this one here if I like it. Get a life. I will acknowledge that I don't have kids, like most apartment renters, and (also like most) I am indeed in good enough shape to climb 2 flights of stairs. Oh, here's a little thing to b*tch about it if will make you happy: office staff never returns phone calls. You have to go in in person. There. Am I miraculously unbiased yet?
