Nice complex--good for college students (and ACC students, also)

I lived at River Crossing for 1 1/2 years while going to UT. If you're a student, and you're looking at apartments on Riverside, you're already aware of the commute, but that's an issue for every UT student: pay ridiculous rent to live close to school, or pay reasonable rent for a ridiculous commute.
Otherwise, the complex is great for students: as far as I know, all units are 2 bed/2.5 bath--great "roommate" setup as each bedroom has its own bath, and there is a half-bath downstairs for "guests" (or for friends that won't leave). Decent closet space in each room, and there is a good-size storage area under the stairs (again, good for college roommates who end up with 2 of everything).
There was some problem with vehicle break-ins when I lived there, but that shouldn't be a shock to anyone who's lived in Austin; there are vehicle break-ins at $2000/month West Campus apartments, also.
All units are 2-story, so you never have to worry about neighbors above you or below you, and the walls are reasonably thick, so that neighbors to either side aren't much of a problem. The facilities aren't the newest, but they're completely adequate: washer/dryers in every unit, pretty big kitchen, etc.
If you're a college student (or if you go to ACC), I highly recommend it.
