I loved Riverlodge for the first few months I lived there. It was spacious, the apartments were beautiful and the view was so serene. Then management switched. And switched again. Soon enough, my rent checks weren't getting processed correctly and I was the one getting late fees and embarassing warnings on my door. I had no major problems, however, until I moved out. About 2 months after moving out, a process which I was meticulous about, walking with the apartment manager (of the week) to make sure things were acceptable, I recieved a bill for $1000 dollars for carpet replacement due to pet damage. My dog was house broken and was in her crate whenever I wasn't home. Furthermore, the manager said my carpets looked great, with minimal wear and tear. I refused to pay, because I had paid both a pet deposit and security deposit. Much like the other poster on here, I began to get collection calls 10 times a day threatening my credit future and sending letters to my house about litigation. In short, Riverlodge is an okay place safety wise and the other residents couldn't be nicer, but the BS that occured after I moved out has made getting a new apartment nearly impossible. Also, be careful on the first floors. We had major issues with flooding last summer, with some people losing all their belongings.
