The location of Riverlodge Apts is perfect, especially if you are just relocating to Austin. It's very scenic out here, and access to all major highways is only 10 minutes away. Having said that, the complex itself is ridiculously over-priced, even for the short-term lease that I had. It's basically everything you could imagine an apt to be, from virtually no parking nearby to thin walls, so thin that I can hear the annoying dog yap away from two units down, all day long! On a positive note, they do offer curbside trash pickup, which is very convenient. The leasing staff, however, is the most inefficient, unprepared, poorly trained set of people I have ever met in all of my life! When they say they will call you back, don't expect them to call you back! And apparently, only ONE person of the entire staff can work on your problem. You have to constantly follow up with them, because it's apparently too much work for them to remember that they were, in fact, dealing with you. It's a pity that a complex so conveniently located has the worst leasing staff imagineable. I do have to say that the only person among that staff who has got a clue about what she's talking about is Christine. She's friendly and communicates well over the phone, and she always seems willing to provide information. So ladies/gentleman, if you want to move to Riverlodge, my suggestion would be to ask for Christine! Good luck!
