As another reviewer noted it is just called Riverside Square Apartments--no "Villas".

Some have said the rates are too high but for its location I don't see how you could be surprised. It is right on the Town Lake trail and within walking distance of 6th street. The apartments aren't new but they are fairly well maintained (I agree that some of the wood siding is rotting). It's not a gorgeous place but it's ok. I too live next to some younger people who are loud but it's just one apartment--the rest are older and good neighbors. The only problem I have is odd: I live on the bottom floor and there is clearly a hot water pipe going through my apartment foundation. I and guests with bare feet can feel the heat rising where it lies. This actually increases my utility bill (I measured the floor with a friend's laser thermometer at 105 degrees), but the management refuses to acknowledge it. I should have been told about this before I signed the lease.

UPDATE: I moved out after a year. The place is in constant limbo because developers want to tear it down to make condos. As a result the people living there are treated like crap--not that they were ever very well treated. You're asking for headaches by signing that lease. And if the plans to build new, expensive condos go through they'll surely throw you out without warning. Beware.
