I have lived here at Riverton for more than a year. This place was so nice when I moved in. Then, several months later, the management changed hands twice and it's been downhill ever since. The current staff consists of complete condescending airheads. If you have a dog you have to walk, this is NOT the place for you. They claim they have a dog park but in reality it's the drainage reservoir and it is NOT maintained. The lighting here at night really, really sucks. It is very dark. For some reason, management feels inclined to give this place a facelift by painting rather than replace the many, many bulbs that are out. Their idea of management is a joke! The only thing they manage to do well is take your money. The pet FEE is high and they can't even manage to refill the Dog Pot bags for your effort. The apartments look nice on the surface but in reality leak air like sieves. Electric bills are higher than average here and water is paid separately. Oh, and if you don't pay to lease an undercover parking space or garage, good luck on parking your car! It is just NOT worth the price they charge for rent. If the rent were less expensive, I'm still not sure it's worth it. Oh, and back to security, they have an off duty cop living here and IF you ever see him out and about, then you must be privileged because I know him and NEVER have seen him out of his place after work except to walk his dog! Wait, there's more! I forgot to mention the VERY thin walls. You can hear everything that goes on in your neighbor's bathroom! All their conversation and the kid that cries daily after his mother hits him! I can even hear downstairs and outside from my vent! I remembered the day after writing this to mention the water pipe (probably a sprinkler pipe) that's been broken for at least 4 months that's flooding an area just in front of one of the buildings. The funny thing is that I see the various "maintenance" guys driving their golf carts right through it and making nice mud tracks! There was a different one broken last year that took them many months to fix. The word of the day folks is PRIORITIES!!! And regarding another users mention of this being a "party" place, that was true just around the time he wrote that (and I really believe that was written by someone who works here)but that has not been the case since about December of 2006. This is far from being a party place! Unless you're a child (too many rowdy kids here now)!!! I highly recommend driving through here at night before you sign on the dotted line!!! BOTTOM LINE: If you want a secure, quiet place to live, this is NOT it!!!
