This place sucks, and the rent is fixing to skyrocket.

Gates never work and one or the other front gates are always open. Somebody always breaks the exit gate near my apt. It usually get's ran off the track by some moron that can't wait 10 secs. for it to open. The majority of our neighbors are rude. We pay for parking and still people continue to park in our spots even after getting towed. There is a major ant problem, we have had our apt sprayed 2 times in the last month. There is NO insulation between floors, repeat NONE! I actually saw this when they had to run cable to another area. There is often trash around the property. I have lived on 4 properties in Austin and this is the worst for what you pay. The management is a joke.

Saddle Creek has its problems like every other apartment complex. I have lived here for nearly 3 years, and most of my time here has been enjoyable. Yes there are problems with the gates, because people become in patient to get in or people that don't live here are always trying to get in. I agree that there is a problem with parking. That was a problem that I noticed as I was viewing the complex for the first time. If people are going to complain then they need to do something about it. Yes the do have to many reserved parking spaces and garages, but as long at they are there you might as well use them. I have 2 reserved spots and a garage and my rent is still affordable, compared to a lot of other places. Management in my opinion is very fair and straight forward. The problem is people don't take time to get to know the people that live around them are try to get to the management team. It doesn't hurt to stop by and say hello, or come to any of the activities that they plan for the residents. Its all about if you want to be treated with respect you have to treat others with respect. It's a good place to live.

I lived in Saddle Creek for about 6 months while my husband was deployed in Iraq. I really liked living there, I had a reserved spot, and only once in that 6 months did someone else park there. My neighbors were friendly, and the grounds were always clean. I have zero complaints, sure the parking is bad there, but the extra $35.00 a month isn't a bank breaker to pay for your very own spot. Someone else parking in your area, isn't something to complain about to manangement. Call the towing company and settle it that way. My move out inspection went great and they didn't try to hassle me out of money like my rental company in Killeen is trying to do at the moment. I really liked living there, and infact miss it.
