Salado at Walnut Creek

So good I moved here twice! From: sirmovealot Date posted: 6/8/2004 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2004   Lived in a 1 bedroom on the creek, then took advantage of the recent drop in rent to live in a 2 bedroom for a cheaper price! To address complaints so far. Yes, it was built on a landfill and there are measures to prevent methane exposure, but I haven't grown an arm or spontanously combusted yet, nor have I never "smelled" anything out of the ordinary, and I have lived on the first floor and now I am on a second floor. My theory on bugs at any dwelling, is that if you are not clean, you will have bugs. There is a small amount of crime, but I have been lucky enough to have not been victim. The staff is awesome! The manager Mike is the coolest apartment manager I've ever met. Tim is extremely helpful as well as the ladies in the office. Construction is bad in the front, but the back entrance is more convenient anyway, I prefer to use it. What I like. Maintenance is superb. They are super fast and efficent at correcting issues. I have never had bug problems, neighbors are quiet and friendly, and the two pools are beautifully kept. All in all, this is a wonderful complex and I would recommend it to anyone.
