I lived here for three years while attending law school. I have another review posted below that talks about what it's like to live there, I just wanted to give an update on how my move out went because with renters situations you never know how that's going to go.

I feel very positive about the management and how they handled my moveout.
I wrote a notice letter letting them know I was moving out, giving my forwarding address and requested in that letter that they send me my deposit or an itemized accounting of any charges.

I did not do a walk through, which probably wasn't so wise but after three years I had trouble even remembering how much my deposit was so I wasn't really worried about it.

I then got a letter from them about 20 days later letting me know what my deposit refund was going to be and listing some charges, all of them were deffinitely legitimate charges. They charged me for my last month's water bill, which I had already paid. But I called them and they fixed the problem immediately.
Then about a week later I got a check for the proper amount.

This is the way move outs are supposed to go and I was very pleased. Just another star for the management at salado.
