The real truth

Here's the real truth about this complex. If rent price is your biggest factor and are not concerned with having many amenities...then this is the place for you. I shared a 2 bed/1 bath with a roommate, paid $629/month (furnished, but cheap furniture) and honestly, the place is really really small. luckily, i am not bothered by small spaces so i was able to deal with it. there arent many electrical outlets at all, so that was a nuisance. there arent any outlets in the bathroom at all, so i cant see how any girl would like living here...luckily, i'm a guy. small stove (but it works fine), no dishwasher or garbage disposal..refrigerator constantly leaks water onto the bottom shelf so i cant put anything on there (but it works otherwise). bathroom is really small and showers are really tiny (but bareable). walls are thin so you can hear a lot of noise at night sometimes, especially if you have noisy neighbors. there is not a single window in one of the bedrooms, so it's completely dark if you dont have a light on in there...really weird. your friends cars will get towed if they are not in one of the 7 visitor parking spots on the entire lot, which is very inconvenient if you want to have people over. the positives: really cheap rent (compared to my friends' apts), really close to UT campus (walk or ride shuttle), maintenance guy is cool (had to talk to him several times during the year), and if you have ever have to send a fax, you can do that at the office free of charge. so basically, if you want a nice/comfortable place to live, live somewhere else....if you want to pay cheap rent and are not closterphobic (sp'), you will be able to survive.
