Great place to live!

Overall, a very nice place to live. The only reason I moved out is that my roomie and I decided we needed separate places and the one-bedrooms here are very much out of my price range.
The gym is pretty good (I like the elliptical machine) - it has a tv and fans. More than some apt complex gyms I've seen! I also like that you can rent DVDs. And the hot tub is nice too. And if you're reasonably quiet, pool/hot tub hours are not strictly enforced.
The pet deposit is horrendous ($500). My dog is crate trained and has never damaged anything, so I find $500 a very stiff amount to pay. I don't see why apt complexes don't wait until your animal tears something up to charge you.
Parking is okay unless you come home in the middle of the night...then you might have to park very far away. Covered parking isn't additional so that's nice. You can park anywhere you see a spot.
Maintenance wasn't too swift. We turned in some small repairs in November and they still hadn't been fixed by the time we moved out in January, despite multiple reminders on our part. My roommate's closet shelves fell down during the moving in process and weren't fixed for about 1 1/2 weeks (makes moving in tough!).
The kitchen is nice...clean, new appliances.
2-2 floorplan was a tad odd. 2 huge balconies, which we never used since we lived on the first floor, and a teeny tiny living room. Why didn't they enclose some more of that space''
Overall, good place to live if you can afford the rent. Good location too!
