I have lived in several apartments in Austin and this is by far the worst I have ever seen. First of all, if you live here I hope that you don't plan on coming home after 9:00pm. If you do, good luck finding parking within three blocks of your building. Secondly, when I moved in, the floors were completely black and staind. The management told us that we could pay to have them cleaned. On top of this, the carpet is horribly laid. You can see every seam in the apartment, there are places where the carpet is actually coming up, and places where it is seperated from the wall. But don't tell management about this, they don't care. Further, when I first moved in, our hot water heater was not lit and upon my request to do this by management, they informed me that it would cost $15.00. Talk about a money hoarding sheme. This complex wants to take you for every buck that you are worth. We accidently put the trash out on the wrong day and boom, a $25 fine. We weren't even informed that there were certain "trash days" but that is supposedly an addendum in the lease. I'll be damned if I can find it. The list goes on and on, the walls are thin, ants are a terrible nightmare so don't leave any food out, and the management is money hoarding, incompetent, robots who, once again, will take you for all that you are worth.
