I moved to San Paloma about 2 years ago and have been very happy! I keep reading these terrible things! As far as the office staff goes it seems they do change alot, but there has always been at least one person there that could help me. I have also never had a direct problem with maintenance! And maybe it is because I have lived in Texas all of my life, but the raccoons, horned toads and snakes are something that I have never NOT seen in this state! Actually I would be worried if I didn't see things like that! I have also read about the apparent "drug problem" and for whoever wrote that could you please let me know where that is because I haven't seen it. My outlook is that I live in the city and with that comes all of the things that happen in all cities. I also know from living in apartment after apartment for years that every one has it's bad tenants. I don't believe there is one sure way to keep ALL of the bad seeds out. Overall I have enjoyed my stay here and will continue to renew. My advice to you complainers is either buy a house so you can control your own residence and/or move out of Texas. Sorry to disappoint you but the raccoons, snakes, geckos and every other animal you have seen aren't going anywhere so get over it and move to another state. Oh and for the guy who said that made the terrible comment about the unintelligent staff..go back to school or learn to use spell check! I was embarrassed for you when I read your ignorant review.

first off, this sure does sound like someone from the staff at San Paloma wrote it. The common sentiment among the residents at San Paloma is that it is a trashy place to live. Unfortunately, there is not a rodent problem everywhere you go, and not ALL apartment communities have pest problems and maintenance issues like San Paloma does. However, San Paloma is not your typical apartment community in that they treat their residents poorly. No, there is not a way to keep ALL the bad seeds out but there are certain measures a GOOD management company could take in order to ensure they are taking care of, or at least TRYING to take care of their residents and ensuring their resident's safety. With the amount of money being paid to San Paloma, don't residents deserve a certain level of respect and a feeling of safety in their homes? Even just at a minimum? Just because the residents aren't homeowners, you are still choosing to make San Paloma your home and it would be nice if residents could feel happy in calling San Paloma. Unfortunately, there is a large turnover in the office and an even bigger turnover in the apartments. This should be a good indication of what kind of place it really is. |

Well if you really ARE a resident of San Paloma, I'm sure your opinion of the place with change once you try to move out. They are already trying to screw me over and I don't move out for another few months.

I am not/was not a staff member. I actually was just a resident for 2 1/2 years. I moved for job reasons, and I got all of my deposit back that I knew I deserved. I didn't paint a wall back because I was lazy, so of course, that was taken out of my deposit. I still stand by my posting. Sorry the rest of you had bad experiences, but I truly didn't.
