The way you ensure that you get top quality tenants is to DENY all those who have reasonable credit, have cleaned up their life (regardless of how long ago you erred in judgment - mine was almost 18 years ago), can afford the rent, and are over 55. Forget that they have steady work experience, have a college degree, or that they're well socialized - that doesn't count. And, let's forget that they've never been in trouble again much less even get a traffic ticket!

What they've really done is collected $245.00 that person's money - paid by cashier's check of course - on the day of application - deposit it into their account to draw interest for 30 days and they get to keep $45 to boot! Now that will keep them up and running to the degree that these review are based on. Now, I get it!

Big mistake San Paloma - it's obvious you discriminate for all the wrong reasons!

I have already applied and am moving in on April 1st. Everybody was very thorough and nice. The apartment is very clean and nice and all the extras are wonderful. They charge $275 total deposit in Money Orders which I get back on my first months rent bringing it down to $160. I have a terrible credit score but good renters history. I also have a student loan which makes me exempt for credit approval. Very nice the way this was taken care of. Im coming from an overpriced run down complex in Northwest Austin. The place has no fitness center and bad maintenance. Anything is a better change, this is so perfect for the price. Of course I havent lived there yet but coming from where I am, it cant be much worse. My complex was very high in crime and noisiness. I think the rest of you should be grateful and maybe not be so picky. This city has a million people it, how can everyone be perfectly satisfied. I give this place an A .
