BEWARE: NEVER RENT HERE, THESE OLD APARTMENTS ARE INFESTED WITH MICE, ANTS, & WORST MANAGEMENT STAFF!

I lived in these apartments for some time, and everyday realized that this is the worst place due to its poor maintenance, careless residents who have their pets ---- all over the place, unprofessional staff/management, as well as, old apartments infested with mites, i.e. ants, mice, etc which are falling apart. Not to mention, I never felt safe here.

The office will take your call for any maintenance issues, but the maintenance guys are just sitting on their "---" and never there to fix your problem until it is too late. Apparently, either the office does not inform them or they just don't want to work. Finally, I had to warn them a couple of times that I will inform the Texas Health Dept, when they finally decided to show up and did a "half----" job.

The management staff has had turnover, it seems to be getting worse with each group. The worst is the ---t. Manager, she will kiss your --- before you move in, once you do, she will act as if she is doing a favor to you. When in reality, we are paying her lazy --- to sit there and do nothing.

All in all, stay away from this property, despite all this trouble, they will still try to steal your security deposit. The management is a complete scam, rather than take responsibility and become customer-centric, they tend to run this place like a "CHEAP ROADSIDE MOTEL".

If you really want to live in this area, check out -------- next door, the Property Manager is very nice and customer friendly. Most of all, their property is renovated, clean, and a staff that actually cares about you and the property.

San Paloma has to be by far the worst apartment complex in Austin, and it speaks for themselves. They have had so many people move out, it is just astounding. Numbers speak for themselves. If they don't shape up, they will be filing Chapter 13.

Hope this helps.

Yours Truly,

Please describe how it is not "safe." You people make me so damn sick. Has anyone been attacked or murdered? Has anyone gotten robbed or hurt? Has your car or apartment been broken into? No. What is dangerous about these apartments? Not a damn thing. I WALK to the apartment gym at night and I am perfectly safe. I think I know what you mean by saying "it isn't safe" but you wouldn't DARE say it. My advice: Move out if you think it isn't so "safe." Trust...we won't miss you!

It is too bad that this website has been exploited by other apartments and their Managers to bad mouth and make false statements. In the above review, it is obvious that it is written by the Property Manager or one of the staff of the apartments next door considering it states that you should visit their community and that their Manager and their staff are soooo nice. What a coincidence. I have lived at San Paloma for several years and have truly enjoyed my stay and will renew my lease when it expires this Fall. As the disclaimer states for this website, "no attempt has been made to verify or ---ure the accuracy of the claims." I recommend people actually come out and view the apartments and meet the staff to really see for themselves why I have stayed for so long.

Good property mangers will address or solve tenant complaints. At San Paloma you will get a "If don't like then move" responds from them. These idiots should be fired immediately. To answer the above question to why I don??t feel safe: I have been awaken several times by car driving by playing loud rap music, groups of people loitering at night and solicitors knocking on my door at 9PM. To be fair, I have notice some positive changes. They have recently changed all the gate and door codes. And if I have any problems do NOT bother with the stupid staff. Instead I speak directly to the manager Kim G. She is an excellent manager and great problem solver.
