Watch out for this property! Maintenance man stole money from my apartment and the management "does not investigate their own employees." LAME. Don't trust these people.

What proof do you have, because in my years here both the maintenance men have been the most upstanding and courteous professionals I have ever met at an apartment. Did you ever sit down and talk to the manager or maintenance men before or did you just make this up?

$200 was taken from my apartment. It was there before the maintenance man entered my home and it was gone after he left. Noone else was in my apartment. I have looked EVERYWHERE and still almost 6 months later the money has not shown up. He didn't leave a note to tell me he had stolen from me, so I don't have proof. It is my word against his. When I talked with the manager he was NOT sympathetic about my loss and he protected the maintenance man. Basically told me it was my word against his and I couldn't prove anything. I wish I had made this up, but I don't have time to sit around making false accusations. People have a right to know that their valuables are not safe at Sandstone Apartments if they are not there to supervise the maintenance people who enter their home.
