We moved in about 5 years ago and have been relatively pleased with the property the entire time. The neighbors have definitely changed quite a bit since we first moved in. It used to be young families and single business people that lived here, but within the last 18 months, the population has become much more college-age, transient occupants. The traffic from people cutting through the parking lot to the neighborhood behind is obnoxious. Be careful with kids in the parking lot! The apartments around the pool are great and have nice SMALL yards. Apartments themselves have great closets and are really a lot of space for the money. Maintenance could respond more quickly, but the new manager (former maintenance guy) seems to be working on this. The place has been through several managers since we have been there, so management has been inconsistent. The Home Buyer's Clause is a great option. Since they are older apartments, you utilities will be high. The railings on the stairs are questionable at best! Overall, the apartments have a great Austin feel that is very different from standard apartments.
