A Nice Place to Live

I've lived in Settler's Creek for a year and have had very few problems. The area seems safe and the neighbors seem nice and polite for the most part.

In all honesty we have had some problems with the office. When we first moved in they lost our deposit check and we had to produce the check image from our bank to prove we paid. It's also difficult to know when you can go to the office for assistance because many times no one is there although it is during the posted business hours. Maintance is also slow in coming. We've had a pretty bad leak in our bath tub for about a month now and no one has been by to repair it. (I think they got the work order mixed up because some one came to fix my perfectly fine garbage disposal while I was out.) We also went three whole days in the middle of July with no air conditioning.

Having said all of that... I really don't think the complex is a bad place to live. The office manager is at least friendly (even if he's not always available). I enjoy my neighbors, and I feel safe. The location is nice. It doesn't feel like you are in the city. You just feel like you're at home.

I would definately recommend this complex to my family and friends.
