The problem here is not so much the staff and maintainence as it is the people who live here. This is a low income complex and some people here have too much stress, too much worry, too many kids and too much alcohol. Add all of those together and you get conditions ripe for domestic violence. I have seen and heard my share of fights which always involve children nearby. Combine this with the unusual amount of vagrant non-residents wandering around and digging in the dumpster and the more than obvious selling of crack in the complex park and you get a geniune slum that people (who think Austin is so beautiful) seem to ignore. Did I mention the number of burned out, broke-down cars in the lot or the "security" gate that is ALWAYS wide open or the tennis court that has not had a net in 2 and a half years or the creek running through the complex that floods everytime it rains causing a bacterial and mosqito-breeding nightmare or the incessant Tejano music eminating from the parkin lot'
